Eva Longoria Parker

Eva Longoria was born on 15th March, 1975, in Texas.Eva Longoria is most famous for playing Gabrielle Solis in the popular and critically-acclaimed American drama Desperate Housewives.After landing roles on The Bold and the Beautiful, General Hospital and Beverly Hills 90210, she progressed to more significant parts in The Young and the Restless and L.A. Dragnet.

2004 was the year when Eva Longoria entered stardom. Desperate Housewives became massively successful and alongside Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman and Marcia Cross, Eva Longoria was one of the stars.

When Desperate Housewives launched, Eva Longoria made a general point about the lack of good parts for actresses: As a female, you're either the wife of the male lead, the girlfriend of the lead, the daughter of the male lead: you're usually always the co-star. Not here. Every woman in Hollywood wanted to work on this project.

A year later, the equally successful second series of Desperate Housewives came out and Eva Longoria also appeared in films like The Dead Will Tell, Carlita's Secret and Harsh Times. In 2006, Eva Longoria starred alongside Michael Douglas and Kiefer Sutherland in The Sentinel.

Eva Longoria was married to General Hospital star Tyler Cristopher from 2002-05 (Longoria briefly acted in the soap). She went on to date the NBA basketball star Tony Parker. In November 2006 People reported Longoria's rep, Liza Anderson as saying Eva and Tony are officially engaged. Eva Longoria and Tony Parker set their wedding day for July 7, 2007.

Eva Longoria came third in FHM's list of the 100 sexiest women 2007.

Eva Longoria was voted favourite female TV star at the 33rd annual People's Choice Awards.
